圣诞礼物

去年圣诞节前，我们公司开始了一个"神秘礼物"活动，每个人随机抽取一位同事的名字，为他准备礼物。

Last Christmas, our company started a "Secret Gift" activity where everyone randomly drew a colleague's name to prepare a gift for them.

我抽到了刚来公司不久的新同事小林，对她的了解不多，只知道她很安静，平时话不多。

I drew the name of a new colleague, Xiaolin, who had just joined the company. I didn't know much about her, only that she was very quiet and didn't talk much.

为了给她准备一个合适的礼物，我开始偷偷观察她的喜好和习惯。

To prepare a suitable gift for her, I began to secretly observe her preferences and habits.

我注意到她的水杯上有猫的图案，办公桌上有一个小猫摆件，键盘垫也是猫爪形状的。

I noticed that there was a cat pattern on her water cup, a small cat ornament on her desk, and a paw-shaped mouse pad.

显然，她是个猫咪爱好者，我决定送她一个与猫相关的礼物，于是买了一个可爱的猫形抱枕。

Clearly, she is a cat lover, so I decided to give her a gift related to cats, and I bought a cute cat-shaped pillow.

交换礼物那天，小林收到我的礼物时眼睛一亮，惊喜地问是谁这么了解她的喜好。

On the day of the gift exchange, Xiaolin's eyes lit up when she received my gift, and she excitedly asked who knew her preferences so well.

更巧的是，我收到的神秘礼物竟然也来自小林！她送我了一本我一直想看的小说。

Coincidentally, the secret gift I received was also from Xiaolin! She gave me a novel that I had always wanted to read.

我好奇地问她怎么知道我想看这本书，她笑着说注意到我的浏览器书签里有这本书的介绍。

Curiously, I asked her how she knew I wanted to read this book, and she smiled, saying she noticed the introduction of the book in my browser bookmarks.

原来我们都在暗中观察对方，这个巧合让大家都笑了起来。

It turned out that we were both secretly observing each other, and this coincidence made everyone laugh.

通过这次活动，我和小林成了好朋友，也发现有时候"偷偷观察"也能带来美好的友谊。

Through this activity, Xiaolin and I became good friends, and I discovered that sometimes "secret observation" can also lead to beautiful friendships.
