出租车

上个月，我在北京出差时遇到了一件奇怪的事情。

Last month, I encountered something strange while on a business trip in Beijing.

那天晚上下着大雨，我急着去赴一个重要的商务晚餐，就在路边拦了一辆出租车。

That night, it was raining heavily, and I was in a hurry to attend an important business dinner, so I hailed a taxi by the roadside.

上车后，我发现这位出租车司机非常特别——他戴着一顶奇怪的帽子，上面有闪闪发光的小灯。

After getting in the car, I noticed that the taxi driver was quite special—he was wearing a peculiar hat adorned with tiny, sparkling lights.

车里播放的不是普通的音乐，而是京剧，音量还不小。最让我惊讶的是，车内挂满了各种小玩偶。

The music playing in the car was not ordinary; it was Peking opera, and the volume was rather loud. What surprised me the most was that the car was filled with various little dolls hanging around.

我好奇地问司机为什么要这样装饰自己的车，他笑着告诉我，他曾经是个京剧演员。

Curiously, I asked the driver why he decorated his car this way, and he chuckled as he told me that he used to be a Peking opera actor.

每当他开车时，总觉得很无聊，所以决定把车变成自己喜欢的样子，让工作更有趣。

Whenever he drove, he felt bored, so he decided to transform his car into something he liked, making his work more enjoyable.

路上，他还给我表演了一小段京剧，那独特的嗓音引得路过的行人纷纷侧目。

During the ride, he even performed a short piece of Peking opera for me, and his unique voice drew the attention of pedestrians passing by.

虽然这段旅程只有二十分钟左右，但却给我留下了深刻的印象。

Although this journey lasted only about twenty minutes, it left a deep impression on me.

到达目的地时，我发现已经不再紧张，反而心情变得很愉快。

When we arrived at the destination, I found that I was no longer tense; instead, I felt quite pleasant.

分别前，他送给我一个小玩偶作为纪念，说希望我也能在工作中找到乐趣，真是一次难忘的出租车之旅。

Before parting ways, he gave me a small doll as a souvenir, saying he hoped I could also find joy in my work. It truly was an unforgettable taxi journey.
